Hyogo woman, 116, named world’s oldest person by Guinness World Records

A 116-year-old Japanese woman who used to be a mountaineer was named the world’s oldest person by Guinness World Records on Aug. 21.
Tomiko Itooka was born on May 23, 1908, and lives in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
